History

In 1972, R. A. Williams formed a development company to build single-family homes in Central Kentucky. With a background in business and real estate development and a pressing need to provide affordable housing, the southeastern Kentucky native began work. The business grew and soon he was developing and constructing elderly and multi-family apartment communities across central and southeastern Kentucky. Under his strong and determined leadership, hundreds of apartments were built across the state. Working with community leaders, he often brought housing developments to communities that had long since given up their dreams of affordable housing. He relished jumping in his well-worn pickup truck and heading off to meet a town,s mayor or visit a jobsite. The reputation of the company grew, based on his philosophy of doing things right.

In 1989, he acted on his need to grow the leadership of the company by finding the right managing partner. Ron Osborne shared the vision for the company, its employees and their clients. The partnership was a success and out of it a new direction was identified to address the growing demand for quality construction services across the state. Osborne was also focused on the philosophy of doing things right. A favorite saying of his soon became the company rallying cry, "the right way, the first time." Word of their commitment to quality provided continued growth.


The business has enjoyed growth, "controlled and deliberate", as Osborne puts it, and has become a beacon of integrity and quality in the construction industry. That was the goal when the journey began. As the staff has grown, so has their commitment. The "right way" motto grew to fit the new organization and became - Integrity Driven , Quality Conscious , Safety Minded. It's a motto we live and work by today, uncompromised by the pressure of the industry or the joy of success.
